It occurred to me how the wavy handwriting “thanks” image kinda blended in with the waves image and that it would be fun to pair the 2 together in this fashion. The waves were glittered with a Sakura Quickie Glue Pen and Prisma Ultrafine Iridescent Glitter. I tried every which way/angle to capture the “sparkle of the waves on the sea”, but obviously I need to improve my photography skills. (insert disgruntled facial expression here)

Inside, there’s a life buoy image, and the sentiment “You’re a lifesaver”.

It made me smile when I finished it, so while I suppose it might be considered more of a masculine design (?), I think a girlfriend who received it would enjoy it, too!

  1. The only thing that could make it yummier is to rip off that paper sun and put a lemon lifesaver in it’s place! drool!!!

  2. The thanks really does blend in well with the waves. You mentioned the card being more masculine – I think it works for either sex which is wonderful.

  3. Love it … love it … love it! It all ties together so nicely, Julie! :)

  4. I like how you stamped thanks twice. It reinforces the wave thingy.

  5. Woohoo – I just signed up for Rubbah on the Road in Langley in August!! I am only traveling 8 hours to get there :) (actually I will be on vacation and this is the PERFECT way to end it). I am looking forward to meeting you as I love your ideas!!

  6. V-E-R-Y cute!!! What a great idea, as always…you are so insightful…thanks for sharing with us. It’s a joy to see your creations!

  7. The “thanks” stamps does look like waves! Brilliant idea! =)

  8. This one’s a winner… one of my new all-time faves!

  9. Love it Julie! I do wish there was a better way to capture sparkle. I am going to take some photography lessons this week, I’ll ask him just this question. ;)

  10. What a clever idea! You are amazing. Thank you for sharing such great stuff.
