This design was an A*Muse*A*Palooza make n’ take project.  I know, I’m pathetically addicted to this color combo, but, I figure if it ain’t broke, why fix it?  It just "works", UKWIM?  I likey!

I love using pastels–no worries about stayin inside the lines–just smudge it on and away you go!  Makes for a speedy quick design! (speedy quick catch phrase courtesy of Junie B. Jones).

Right now I’m away from my studio.  This is a wretched thing when ideas go "ding!".  But, I am looking forward to this coming weekend.   A family reunion down at my cousin Janice’s.

Aaaah, Janice.  It’s her fault you know. She is responsible.  She’s the one that first "exposed" me to rubber stamping.  Which, at first, left me baffled and mystified.  Which sparked curiosity.  Which led to interest.   Which induced addiction.  Which culminated in obsession.  See?  Entirely her fault.  She does not deny her involvement in this, and at times, I think she is rather smug that she hooked and reeled me in.

She also introduced me to appletinis . . . (very big grin).  Naughty Janice.  See what you have done?  A monster is right.  An appletini swiggin’, rubbah wieldin’ monster.  Yup!

At any rate, I’m looking forward to this weekend and good times with Janice!  Yippeeeeeee!!!

  1. I made this card at Amuseapalooza. If I had known it was your design, I think I would have more excited than I already was. It was my first time getting Amuse stamps, I think I stood staring at them for 30 minutes before I could pick out some. My budget was WAY too small.

  2. That card is just darling! I love those colors and the ribbon is perfect!! Hope you had an awesome weekend!!

  3. Oooh how fun! I remember meeting Janice in Portland! Mmmmmm appletinis! Come home safe, girl!

  4. I love your post today: I feel that way about my friend Robin- She introduced me to Rubber and I introduced her to digital- it’s good to have someone who knows you well to share your addictions with you:)
