Tanksalot
All Images, Pre-printed Note Card, Creative Candy Clear Round Sticker all by A Muse Art Stamps; Pale Blue Marker by Stampin’ Up!;  Colorbox Fluid Chalk Ink in Tangerine; Ribbon by American Crafts; Tiny Tags Sizzlit Die by Sizzix; Tiny Safety Pin by Queen & Co.;  Sakura Quickie Glue Pen; Prisma Glitter in Ultra-fine Multi; Sentiment hand-lettered

I just hate waste, don’t you?  I save botched cards, in case I can find another use for the paper.  I had ruined one of A Muse’s Cabana Blue Band cards, but there was enough left to stamp Fishy "underwater", cover him with a round clear sticker, and trim him out.  I then trimmed the top and bottom edges of the whole thing to resemble an actual fish bowl/tank.

Before I glued the fish bowl into place on the card, I inked up only a portion of the Lots of Dots skinny image, and stamped them to resemble air bubbles.  I coated the bubbles with glue pen, and applied glitter for some sparkle and shimmer.

Then, into place went the fish bowl with foam mounting tape, for added dimension.

After digging around in my stash of ribbon, I hit the jack-pot!  Some American Crafts ribbon tied the blue and orange colors together nicely and the tiny safety pin was perfect for securing the tiny tag I’d cut from scrap card stock.  Once again, no stamp that said what I wanted, so I had to hand-letter it onto the tag.

I’m still feelin’ a wee bit clever, although I’m sure I’m not the first to think of this . . . chuckle!
