Geeze, I crack myself!  ROTFL!  Chicken and I always seem to have good times, eh?!  Here, we see she’s a bit "startled", to say the least . . . It just seemed comical to me that Chicken would lay a "tye dye" egg, amidst all the "normal" eggs . . . A quick flourish with the pen and her eyes appear to be buggin’ out . . . After adding all the details of grass, and sentiment, and the 3D nest, on the lime peel band panel*, I mounted it to a pink note card.

The "sky" had too much white space, however, and the card didn’t feel complete . . . I decided the scallop oval background stamp would make the perfect "clouds"!  BUT, I didn’t realize my stamp wasn’t completely clean as I inked the edges . . .   I ended up with a murky tan cloud, edged in blue . . .

Naturally, this *annoyed* me. (insert highly irritated frown)

I really didn’t wanna start all over from scratch on this design, so after thoroughly cleaning the scallop oval stamp, I re-inked again, and stamped onto scrap white card stock, trimmed them out, and aligned them with foam mounting tape over the originally botched scallop oval(s).

This mistake actually gave the card some added dimension that, in the end, enhanced it more than I thought it would!

Hey, Mikey!  I likey!

*A Muse’s lime peel band note cards come with a pre-printed band of green that is awesome for making "grass" etc., depending on which direction the card is turned.  In this instance, I wanted to layer it onto a pink card, so I cut a lime peel band card in half and trimmed that down to 4" square so I’d have a 1/8" margin all around for matting.
