Jami, Jami, Jami.  My buddy Jami just adores a good challenge . . . *chuckle*  We had so much fun with the last one, she said we Dirty Girls needed to do it again.  So, she hosted another!  Deets are here at her blog, if you’re curious–mebbe you’d like to play, too? *grin*

If you’re interested in seeing the contributions of all the Dirty Girls, both present and Alumni, that played, check out the Splitcoast gallery, at this linked keyword:  DCP1207

I’m *really* bummed that EK Success retired this punch–it’s just so stinkin’ CUTE!  What were they thinking???!!!  Anyhoo, when Jami said we had to include ice, but, couldn’t use the color blue, I realized just how hard this particular challenge would be!  I mean, think about it . . . Yeeeeaaaaah, not so easy, is it?!! pppppfffffftttttt!!!

Anyway,if a penguin were to present another penguin with a gift on his brrrrrthday, what would it be???  How would he do it?  Well, it would be "gift wrapped" in ICE, of course!!! Hmmmmmmm.  To the embellishment stash . . . AHA!!!  I knew there was a reason I bought all these clear square epoxy stickers 2 years ago!  Bwah ha ha haaaaaaaaaa!!!  (insert rolling eyeballs here)

This penguin guy just cracks me–he’s just so roly poly, UKWIM?!  I wanted him to be dressed spe•shul for the occasion, so I embossed him with Simple Stick, and gave him a nice "coat" of black glitter.  I swear, when I first discovered sticky EP, I musta bought 5 different brands every where I came across it, assuming they’d all be the same.  NOT!!!   A Muse’s Simple Stick is my favorite "sticky" embossing powder–it has a much finer and non-clumping grind than any other sticky EP I’ve ever used, and adheres the best to pigment inks, Versamark, etc.  BTW, Martha Stewart’s glitters are outstanding.  Must get *more *. . . (drooling)

I wrapped a very thin piece of card stock, just long enough to secure to the sticky side of the epoxy sticker–these are just shy of 1" square, so they were just right in size for this.  After securing the fish punch out to the sticker, and then mounting to the card front, to make the "bow" on top of the package, I trimmed a Pom Pom punch out

I have to admit, polka dots just say *happy* to me, so I had to make a fun and festive background for him.  I love this combination of orange against this warm, papaya yellow!

Dang, I *love* it when I’m brilliant!!! (gleeful chortling, arms wrapped around self!)
