Link: A-MUSE-A-PALOOZA: Challenge 2 – Inspiration Eastcoast style!.

Mmmmm!    This is probably my favorite kind of challenge–being inspired by something completely unrelated to stamping!

Anyway, if you are planning to play this challenge, or any of the A Muse challenges, games, contests, etc.  make sure you are registered as an A Muse-a-Palooza participant, so your entries count!  Last year’s registrations do not roll over into this year, so make sure you have submitted a new registration for THIS year!  Where do you register?  Right  HERE.

I’m hoping to find some time today to do Shurkus’s–I *really* enjoyed playing Geeta’s, and seeing everybody’s submissions!

Taylor has a graduation ceremony this afternoon himself–"Moving Up to Middle School".  I think pizza and build your own ice cream sundaes will make for a great celebration tonight.

Thank you for all the warm wishes for Hayley!

Her class requested that she sing . . . and she was horribly nervous (the knee she had ACL surgery on last year began to shake and she had to shift her weight to her left, afraid it might give out on her, or she’d vibrate off the stage.

She sang beautifully!    Her classmates gave her a standing "O".

It kinda hit me like a brick wall that evening, hearing her sing, "I Hope You Dance", Lee Ann Womack.  I’ve been rather emotional the last few days . . .  But, if there’s one thing I know about my Hayley, she will dance . . .

"Thank-you for reminding me not to take for granted these hectic, hair-pulling, blood pressure-raising wonderful years with my girls, ages 11 and 4 1/2!"–Beth

Beth–your hectic, hair-pulling, blood-pressure raising wonder years are only just about to begin!     But, I tell you, I wouldn’t trade any of it for anything!

She graduated; we survived.  Hey–I wonder if we get a prize or something for this?!  *chuckle*

  1. Congrats to Hayley and to you for raising such great kids. You definitely don’t look old enough to have a daughter graduating from high school. Hang in there Mom! My DH has gone through his youngest leaving home – it’s been tough but he’s doing ok. We are planning on cleaning out my step-son’s room and putting in a pool table!
Have a great day. I’ve already played along with the inspiration challenge and will be doing the sketch challenge too!! Probably signing up for a class at my local store too.

  2. Congratulations!
i have two daughters that graduated from college, one still going. my 23 year old got married on Friday and the emotions that ran thru my heart were wonderful. as she stands on the precipice of her life as a married woman, i reflect on all that we have enjoyed with her, good and bad, for the bad taught us so much, how to resolve, mature and still love each other. i wish you lots of joy on this ever continuing journey, it’s wonderful, for we get to do it again thru them!

  3. Congrats to Hayley! …and parents

Unfortunately, neither the collage or music comes up for me and my iBookG4. :C Must be beautiful!

  4. Chuckle, chuckle! I tell my girls that I’m going to expand my craft space when they go off to college *wink*! I’m already dreading that day….

  5. Please don’t scream to much, we go to bed earlier than you do here on the east coast.

  6. Yes, Julie dear, you’ll be getting those college bills soon and then all those same WONDERFUL feelings as you see her turn into an amazing woman graduating from college. And don’t even get me started on the REALLY GOOD STUFF, grandbabies!!!!!!
