Like my buddy Heather, I adore vintage Halloweeney stuff!  My hubby’s birthday is Halloween, too!  (insert cackling)

Just for kicks, I "tinted" the orange harlequin paper by coloring over the top with an E02 Fruit Pink Copic marker–it tinted all the white with a nice peachy tone that helped reduce the contrast, allowing the Web (sneak peek) to take more prominence.

I have some bottle caps that my sweet friend Britta picked up for me at a home brew supply a few years back–I smash these (brand new/uncrimped) flat by running them through my Big Shot machine; I can do a bunch all at one time–SWEET!!! I love using them!  1" circle punch fits them perfectly, and you can make all sorts of fun gizmos for your cards, or scrapbook pages, home decor project, and even JEWELRY!  I’ve seen cute bottle cap bracelets, pins, and belts!

Sorry for the pic–I know it’s a li’l bit fuzzed; I didn’t have time to take another shot.  I dunno if you can tell, but, there’s a clear page pebble over the top–it’s shy of 1" in diameter, tho, so there’s a wee bit of gap–ARGH!   But, ya’ take what ya’ get, and make do . . . *sigh* . . .   I used foam mounting tape to secure the bottle cap to the card, but, pop up glue dots would also work–you want something with pretty strong "stick-um" . . .

I’ve been hoarding some Maruyama paper (by Magenta) for the loooooongest time, and I thought it would make a cool monochromatic texture to add over the orange panel–this stuff can be a little tricksy to attach tho!  I *hate* dragging out the spray adhesive (fumes, and whatnot) and, geeze, I’d hafta get off my royal stampin’ stool to go hunt it down anyway, so I just left enough length on the ends to wrap it around and glue it on the back of the orange panel.   No one will be the wiser, eh?! *wink*

All the Muses are goin’ a tad nutty over the new Black Kitchen Note Cards and Paper–Oh, MYLAAAAAANTA!!! *chinkle*
