I had such a BLAST up at Precious Memories this last weekend!  6 classes in 2 days!  GOOD TIMES!!!

I popped into the shop the night before to make sure I knew where I’d be going in the morning.  Lemme tell ya’, there’s nothing like gettin’ slammed by Tara for a big warm bear hug before I can even get my foot in the door!  She’s the cutest little thing!  Petite!

This was actually my first time seeing the new location, and I PIMPd!!!  It’s wonderful!  Check it out from the classroom area:

The staff at PM are lovely girls!  Saturday night, as I had no family accompanying me, Judy took me to her favorite fish n’ chips haunt, and whoah man–crispy, and definitely oh-so-bad-for-the-waistline-YUMMY!!!   I thoroughly enjoyed that–thank you, Judy!  {{{{{{{Judy}}}}}}}}  And, Colleen brought me a mocha to keep me going Sunday afternoon!  Thank you so much, girlfriend!

I must thank Grace, on the right for teaching me to use the Fiskars Threading Water Punch PROPERLY!!!  I was using it all wrong, and it was driving me crazy, cuz I kept ending up with wonky holes–nobody else was; just MOI !!!

Once Grace showed me how I was mis-aligning it, GUESS WHAT???  NO MORE WONKY HOLES!!! Apparently I was "double-punching" . . . Ssssshhhhhhhh!!! Don’t tell on me; as the teacher I am supposed to know *everything*, right?!  pppppfffffffttttttttt!!!  (insert sheepish grin–>    )

And, Nancey, to the left in this shot, totally CRACKED me with her straightforwardness–I LOVE a girl that says what she means, and means what she says!  You *know* what I’m talkin’ ’bout, Nancey!  (inside joke on a glitter edging technique that worked for me at home in the studio, but, did NOT in a class, with live peeps, oh no!!!  I swear it can be done with success, Nancey; I’ll figure out where I went astray, I promise!  Bless your heart!)

Adelina, on the right in this pic, a beginning stamper at Sunday’s classes–literally first time–exhibited unusual and outstanding stamina.  Girl was a trooper, and I gotta give her a stamping "O" for her remarkable fortitude and perseverance!  Go, Addie-girl!  I hope I didn’t skeer her off of taking more classes with me next time I’m up there!  Her Sister-in-Law had gifted her the whole day’s classes, to spend time together, and share her love of stamping–isn’t that the sweetest thing ever???

I’ll share more pics of class in the side rail (I always forget to take enough pictures!)–it was so good to see so many familiar peeps once again, and oh, man, did we laugh HARD!!!   Ya’all are the bestest!  Thank you for such GOOD TIMES, always!!!

Here’s one of my favorite card designs from Old Fashioned Christmas:

I’m also looking forward to teaching with Linda out on the East Coast in a few weeks–Colorful Creations, in Hyannis MA, Ink About It in Westford MA, and The Paper Tree in Manchester NH   See their websites for more registration info, and phone numbers!  I hope I’ll have a chance to meet you in class and share some stampin’ fun with ya’ yonder way!  *wink*

  1. I can’t wait to meet you when you travel east! Your classes always sound like so much fun; I’ll be at the Paper Tree!

  2. Add my name to the count for not being able to figure out how to use the punch correctly-please share you new found knowledge.

  3. Looks like fun times!! Your skater card is so cute as well!! Love the old-fashioned feel of it!!

  4. Love the card, Julie!

OMG … what cutie-pie ladies. Everyone looks like they’re having a great time!

  5. So good to hear that I am not the only one that can’t seem to work the fiskars punches. I really thought only I could have that problem. I need the lesson on proper use *wink*
