My love affair with Cityscape continues.  I just *love* that darn stamp!  This is another of my most favorite designs for the Christmas season . . . I love the "hushed" feeling created by stamping the city in soft, rich blue on the French Blue paper.  And, for some reason, it also reminds me of a favorite movie–Miracle on 34th St.  (I love both the original, and the remake of this holiday classic).  Some day, I think it would be so cool, just once, to see the Macy’s parade, and then to spend the holidays in the big city!

One of the things I loved about living in Eastern Washington, was the snow.  I could count on snow for my  kidlings to roll around in, and for me to stand inside, gazing out the window in a contented sort of wonder, a nice hot cuppa in hand. (*snarf*)   But, here on The Rock every winter, snow is a mebbe, mebbe not proposition.  I know–people who live where they always get snow for months unending probably tire of it very quickly and long to be somewhere warm, mebbe even tropical . . . And, me?   I have a complete tantrum every time everywhere around us gets snow and we get zip!  Yup! It happens, and quite unfair, in my not so humble opinion!

At any rate, we’ll get rain for sure (insert rolling eyeballs), but, I always hold out hope for snow! *grin*
