Welcome to the 2011 Hero Arts Catalog Blog Hop!

Vintage phones?  Hello!!! I love 'em!  And it was great fun designing this greeting using the new "Just Saying Hi" set for this hop, as Hero Arts unveils their new catalog!

I wanted an "office"-yet-still-feminine look for this card, so I pulled from a stash of 6×6 papers I've been hoarding that I just love.

I've been hoarding this narrow velvet ribbon, too.  Velvet gives an element of "plush" that I just adore!  It was perfect to cover the seam of where the lattice and floral papers meet.

To further emphasize the darling phone, I covered it with an A Muse Clear Circle Sticker.

Texting and emailing are efficient means of communication, but sometimes just pickin' up the phone or sending a letter can't be beat–altho I'm sure letter-writing is considered old fashioned by today's young 'uns. *wink*
