So, I've been dying to make something with that cool Newspaper Skyline. I've also been wanting to play with some recent Studio Calico/Hero Arts sets I've gotten, and all of a sudden this idea hit me, and I had to make it real. *monkey clapping*

So fun to combine these different patterns and textures into this design!

I've been sick for over a month now but I am FINALLY beginning to feel better for real, after several trips to the doctor. YAY!!!

So, I did a video. *grin*

Enjoy it here or on YouTube!

  1. Ok WOW I am in awwww thanks for some great ideas

  2. Just got a skyline type stamp. As soon as I am sure this toddler snuggled up to me is indeed sleeping, you can bet I am going to try my hand at this adorable card. Thx so much! Love your style…

  3. Love that technique of mounting the stamp backward for a solid image, and then using the same stamp for the actual image. Brilliant! Glad you’re feeling better!

  4. LOVE the card and THANKS for the VIDEO!! =)
Glad your feeling better and I look forward to more videos in the NEW YEAR!! =)Have a FABULOUS HOLIDAY WEEK!! =)

  5. I absolutely adore this one! You are SO fabulous! Thanks for all the wonderful inspiration this year…I love stopping by this happy spot. I wish you and your family a wonderful Christmas and a very happy 2012! ♥

  6. LOVE! Love how you did the sun – using both sides of the stamp. Love the newspaper skyline as well. That is on HeroArts 2012 wishlist.

  7. Wow that is one clever card! Never thought of flipping a stamp over to stamp a solid shape. Thanks for sharing!
