This grey panel was salvaged from a previously botched design… I'm a terrible one for saving pieces I think could be reincarnated; I stash 'em in a file and then almost never remember to go back and dig 'em out to do anything with. Oy!

But an idea for this one came to mind immediately. And nagged to be completed. When I shoulda' been grocery shopping.  *insert rolling eyeballs*

(Sssshhhhhh!!! Don't tell!!!)

The bats were already embossed, so I just embossed "October 31" onto a scrap of white, punched it out and slapped it over top of some washi tape–the honeycomb patterned one is yellow and not in the least Halloween related, but over the graphite it took on a slightly chartreuse cast.

The strip of patterned paper on the left side was from an older 6×6 paper pad, Doodle Deux by Prima.

I think I'll stamp "It's your day!" on the inside–it will make the POIFECT birthday card for the Mister! Mwuah ha ha ha haaaaaaaaaaaaa!!
