I have to admit, the cards that are always the most rewarding for me (creatively speaking) are the ones that are the least labor and time intensive. And have glorious expanses of white space.  I cannot begin to describe how supremely GIDDY they make me!!!

"Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication."

–Leonardo Da Vinci

And, that's pretty much all I got to say about that.

Note: scraps of colored 100# Bazzill Card Shoppe from my scrap bin were used to die cut "hello"

  1. Larissa, you’re so cute! Disagree away! ;) While I personally love creating CAS cards, I GREATLY admire the more layered and intricate looks, even if they are not really my own fort√©! I think when we are each true to ourselves in making our art/cards/whatever, it shows with the end-product and that’s what it’s all about! Make what you love, love what you make–IT’S ALL GOOD!!! *mondo squishy hugs*

  2. Love Love Love! So simple …so pretty!

  3. simply LOVE this!

  4. It’s a beautiful card; but did anybody else read the three “Hello’s” in their head in the voices of the Three Stooges…or is that just me? :-)

  5. This is great Julie – you’re right, the perfection example of a simple CAS design at its best!!! And you gotta love that it uses up scraps too ;)
