Needed to make a masculine thank-you card and decided to go with a clean, mod design–I think this Hero Arts/Basic Grey background stamp really helped set the whole thing off!

Whenever I want/need a particularly deep, crisp (non-feathering) black impression, the ink I always reach for is Brilliance Graphite Black. Yes, it’s a pigment ink. Yes, it can be a little messier than most black pigment inks to clean up.  That’s because it’s a faster-drying pigment ink.  Usually, I just set it aside to air dry, or if I’m in a hurry, I will heat set it so I can keep moving.

You can emboss it if you don’t poke along and apply your embossing powder immediately after stamping. You can also use it on non-porous surfaces such as polyshrink, vellum and glossy card stocks; just heat set it.  Yup, you read right: A pigment ink you don’t have to seal with embossing powder on non-porous surfaces. BOOYAAAAH!!! *fist pump*

Everything about this design is pretty self-explanatory so I laid down a music track and cranked up the speed!

Hope you’re havin’ a fab day!
