feat. Rustic Botanicals, Plant Ladies Say + Brilliance Graphite Black, Avery Elle Lemon Grass Pigment Ink; NUVO Crystal Drops in White

This week I’m posting a different design every day, featuring stamps and dies from the August 2017 Essentials by Ellen Release

I used just one leaf from the Rustic Botanicals set to “build” my own mondo plant (cactus? succulent? greenery???).  :)  I thought it made a cool back-drop for the “You are enough” sentiment.  Spattered a little black paint over the top, and slapped on some baker’s twine and accented with NUVO drops.

Love it.  I do.

  4. HI JULIE!!! Big fan…someday when we are back in the NW I hope to go to catch one of your classes! I have a question on Avery Elle inks. I have some Avery Elle Inks that never fully dry…they smudge even weeks after sitting. The Sea Glass in particular is problemactic. Have you experienced the same issue with these inks? Has AE changed their formula recently to solve this issue? I’d like to get more of their inks but not if they cont. to smudge. Sad!

  5. LOVE this!!!!

  6. Cactus…definitely and perfectly cactus.
