Truth:  Mass producing *anything* can be tedious and often times, dare I say it, boring. GAAAAH!!!  I’ll admit that I designed the Concertina Tags Die with that in mind.  I’m a busy gal. How ’bout you?

I did a process video to show you how I busted these babies out, using the aforementioned die and some watercolors. ENJOY!!!

Essentials by Ellen December 2017 Release is here!

It’s December! (How’d that happen???) And soooooo much going on! We have a new release that just went live at Ellen Hutson LLC.  There will be some hops beginning December 13 to inspire you, but in the meantime, I thought I’d share a fun (not  part of the hop) sample. :)

We’ve had the DREARY-EST (is that a word?) weather here and getting enough daylight to shoot nice photos has been a lost cause… I couldn’t get the Delicata Gold Ink to show up in the first photo, so hopefully you can see it better in the 2nd.

I tinted the vellum card stock with pigment ink prior to die cutting.  I had seen some super clever mini champagne bottle favors on Pinterest that just CRACKED me up and I just could.not.resist. mimicking them! *chortle*  Turned out even better than I imagined! *monkey clapping*

Links to the release AND a could-not-be-more-perfect coordinating Party Bundle are below–everything works BEAUTIFULLY together!

Be sure to stop by the CLASSroom December 13th for the first of 3 mini hops!

Hope you’ve been enjoying lots of eye candy over the last two hops–can you take one more day? :)

Today’s project is a fuzzy one, featuring the Essentials by Ellen Designer Dies, Bear Hugs by Julie Ebersole

I had seen some adorable felt tissue pouches on Pinterest and it occurred to me that Bear would make such a cute one! I cut a simple slit across the mid-section of the front layer, after I had stitched on his facial features and then I sewed together the front and back layers.  Couldn’t resist using some of the Snailed It  Dies to add some accents. I folded up some pocket tissues and tucked them inside, but you could tuck all sorts of things inside–this would be a cute way for a child to put a tooth under their pillow for the tooth fairy to come or tuck a small gift or individually wrapped candies inside! You could even wind up and store a set of those ear pods/headphones to a music player inside him!

Thanks for stopping by today!  Hope you are feeling fully inspired to make some fun things with this latest release!

Your next stop on the hop: Lisa Adametz

P.S.  I was chit chatting about the new release on Facebook LIVE this past Monday on the Ellen Hutson LLC Page–you can check out the recorded version HERE! :)
