The watercolored floral makes a great backdrop to the greeting, but if you’re short on time, try going mono-chromatic: Use a colored note card and ink/stamp the hydrangea in an ink tone a shade darker than the note card. Finish off the card similar to what you see here and BAM!!! You’re done! :)
Basic Alpha contains multiples of frequently used letters so you can spell out just about anything your heart desires! :) I have another example with this alpha set HERE. I do have a video in the works for the dimensional balloon, but I’ve been a bit up to the gills and just couldn’t get it all done in time…
ETA: Video for the honeycomb balloon can now be found HERE.
Maybe you follow me on Instagram, and maybe you don’t. If you don’t, you can if ya’ wanna, right HERE. Since moving from Typepad to WordPress a few years ago, I STILL haven’t figured out how to put an Instagram button up there at the top right of my blog with all the other social media icons. Nor, how to change the colors of the little buttons when you hover over them. *argh*
All that aside… I meant to say that I’ve been sharing sneak peeks on Instagram of my latest upcoming release for the Essentials by Ellen line ! Yip yip!!! Just look for the hashtag: #essentialsbyellen to see what all our team and guest designers have been sneaking peeks of.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, February 9th– we’re gonna have a FAN-TAS-MAGORICAL hop–I’ve seen some of the designers’ samples behind the scenes, and at the risk of sounding like a total SAP, I get kinda misty-eyed… Because they see things in different ways and they each bring their own unique talents to the table when bringing the stamps and dies to life… They leave me in awe, for lack of better words to describe it.
For those of you that don’t hang out on Instagram, I thought I’d share some of my own sneaks right here:
LINK: See the full-size card above + a video tutorial on this die HERE
Hope you can stop by the hop, which starts Tuesday, February 9th in the CLASSroom–the eye candy will inspire you so much, I guarantee it! :)
Long time, no post. *chortle* I dropped off the grid to finish up artwork for an upcoming Essentials by Ellen release and then took off for Florida for nearly two weeks to spend the holidays with my daughter’s family! Trying to capture Lilly on camera (and not just a blur) is challenging. There were a few brief moments where she held still long enough for us to snap a shot or two… LOL! She’s a bundle of energy, I tell ya’! I soaked up every minute of it and we had an amazing time!
You can call and Facetime until the cows come home, but there’s nothing like having those little arms wrap around your neck in a big “pink” hug… She brings us joy in ways I can’t begin to describe…
A few days after returning, I was back on a plane with my dear friend and colleague Ellen headed for CHA (Craft & Hobby Association Conference & Show) in Anaheim, CA! Hooked up with many friends, saw lots of new crafty goodies coming and also got to have dinner with my little sister! GOOD TIMES, GOOD TIMES!!!
Carissa brought a selfie stick and I can’t tell you how many times we TRIED to get a good shot… Laughed so hard I thought I’d split my sides!

I did a recap Flip-a-Gram of our adventures… You can see that HERE.
I wish I could figure out how to embed the Flip-a-Gram, but alas, my technical skills are crap and I’m clueless.
While down in Cali, my latest Hello, Monday posted over in the CLASSroom HERE.
Made using Love You So, with a little “Wild Thing” in mind… :)
