CASE Study Challenge Blog, March 14

Can't believe a week has already gone by–it's time for another CASE Study–Yay!!!

This is the 2nd inspiration photo Chupa chose:

Negative butterfly die cuts, ink splatters, earthy tones…

And, here's my CASE Study:

Love playing with mists, and die cuts–only this time, I didn't use the negative space. Similar colors–but lighter/brighter and a modified layout that I had to add a touch of Washi to… Also used some sheets from a new 6×6" patterned paper pad I could not resist…

Check out what the other chicks did here: CASE Study Challenge Blog

Thanks for poppin' in today! Hope you get a chance to play, too–it is RIDICULOUS FUN!!!

I must confess to being ridiculously tickled waaaay back, when Jennifer Rzasa invited me to guest design for the Runway Inspired Challenge; I'm always AMAZED at the creations the DT come up with!!! And it fascinates me to see how differently each of them interprets the inspiration image! *Uber* cool!!!

So. Are ya' ready to see what I came up with? *cheeky grin*

(insert drum roll here)

Since I didn't have any images that resembled the pattern/designs on her dress, I had to wing it…

… Literally…

Great expanses of white, some black & white and pops of very bold blue were the things that really stood out to me so that's what I ran with. So fun!!!

Be sure to see what all the designers came up with–very cool!!!

Thanks for stopping in today!

And, thanks to Jennifer for inviting me to play with the RIC DT!
