The shapes of these flowers and leaves were so fun to watercolor!
I copper embossed the images for this one and then washed some Distress Stains overtop in subtle hues–die cutting the leaves from vellum card stock and adding the little wood veneer heart was the perfect embellishment!
So, did ya’ know there is fab swag to be had, as well? Yup! Technique Tuesday is going to give away these awesome prizes:
One person will receive a package consisting of all 5 of Cath’s new products
Technique Tuesday will also give away two $25 gift certificates
The three winners will be chosen at random from all the comments left during the hop on all the blog stops. To be eligible to win, blog hoppers need to just leave a comment any of the blog hop stops. The more comments you leave during the hop, the more chances you have to win.
Y’all have through midnight PST on Sept. 16th, 2015, to leave comments. The three winners will be announced on the Technique Tuesday blog on Sept. 18th, 2015.
My daughter Hayley’s sister-in-law–actually, all her in-laws–have a great sense of humor, and when she and her husband announced they were expecting, I just knew she would get the funny behind this card. We’re so happy for them, and that our granddaughter Lilly will soon have a cousin!
I used my Dymo Label Maker to finish the inside… *chuckle*
WOO HOO!!! I’m teaching once again at my friend Stephanie’s Paper Garden Boutique down in Sacramento, CA! It’s a beautiful store, and Stephanie and her staff are the nicest people–they make some of the most gorgeous hand-made invitations and party favors you’ll ever see and it is always such a treat for me to visit, and teach classes!
Please call the store directly to register as space is limited to 20 adults per session!
Note: The classes are being held at the neighboring Piatti Restaurant–if you like, bring some lunch money and they’ll serve you lunch in between the classes! So nice!!!
We’ll use some fun, easy techniques to make single layer cards that still feature lots of visual impact–my favorite kind! Please bring a basic tool kit of detail scissors, small paper trimmer, and your preferred adhesives.
