Online Card Class’s Holiday Style + a GIVEAWAY

The city sidewalks are all dressed up in holiday style and in the air there’s a feeling of celebration. Online Card Classes is here to help you get started with an ALL NEW holiday card class: Holiday Style!

Instructors Kristina Werner and Julie Ebersole (that’s me! *mondo grin*) are ready to send holiday tidings in a variety of card making styles. In fact, this class will feature FIVE different card styles from Clean & Simple to Whimsical & Cute. What can we say? We’re hoping to have something from everyone’s card making wish list! And with Jennifer McGuire leading an all-star line up of guest artists, you’re sure to find a design that will put some jingle in your step. And what’s that pitter-pattering on the roof? It just might be Santa, bringing back our popular 1 Stamp, 3 Ways concept (with a slight twist)!

So, yeah, Santa Baby! I’m so excited to be co-teaching in OCC’s latest offering! GOOD TIMES ALWAYS!!!

I also have THREE spots to giveaway! EEP!!!

You can enter by leaving a comment here on this post by Wednesday evening Nov. 11th,  and I’ll announce the winners on Thursday!

Are you ready to make merry?

Happy Friday, An Announcement + A Card

Wonderful Time teal WEB1

The winners of the Essentials by Ellen Holiday II release have all been posted over at the CLASSroom blog–be sure to pop over and see if your name is on the winners’ list!

I have a quick share today–the brush script sentiments in the Holly Jolly set make me so happy–they are big enough to take center stage all by their onesies! *grin*

I watercolored a quarter sheet of watercolor paper with Distress Stains, added some droplets of water, let it dry, prepped it with the powder tool, and then white embossed over the top.  There’s only two cute brushy trees in the set, but I stamped the smaller one again so I could have a trio.

After trimming down and mounting to a standard A-2 card, glued on my beloved Pretty Pink Posh Sparkling Clear Sequins and then added Silver Stickles along the edge. My friend Stephanie, who owns the Paper Garden, taught me how she adds Stickles to the edges of her hand-made invitations and wedding announcements and I’ve been practicing to get as fast as she is at it–I think my jaw hits the floor every time I watch her do it!

Next Hello, Monday over in the CLASSroom, I’ll show you how on a different card I created. :)

Have a fab Friday, and hope your Halloween tomorrow is spook-a-licious! ;)

Pink Power Bloghop 2015

I’m participating in a very special hop today, coordinated by my sweetest of friends Chaitali Narla.  Chaitali designed the Pink Power set for her mom with a lot of love when her mother was undergoing treatment.  Unfortunately, her mother was diagnosed late, at Stage 3, and lost the battle against this disease.

Early detection is extremely important in saving lives and we want to encourage everyone to get checked regularly.  Many of you may remember when my mama was diagnosed a few years ago and underwent a mastectomy.  She is doing wonderful on her current treatment and I thank all of you that have continued to inquire about her!  We are SO VERY thankful everything has been going well and she is feeling great!

It is an honor to contribute to this hop and use Chaitali’s Pink Power stamp set for my card design:

Chaitali will be asking her readers to comment on her post when they last had their checkup. The 3 people with the most recent checkup date will win an “I Think Pink” package from her with a bunch of pink goodies including the Pink Power stamp set.

Enjoy the beautiful designs on this hop, and please…
