Balloon Bunny

There’s just something so happy and charming about balloon animals, ya’ know what I mean?  They just make me smile… :) I do believe I squealed involuntarily when I saw this stamp set by Avery Elle at CHA this year…  I had to make an Easter card for my granddaughter with it, but I love that it has extra sentiments that are good for year round. *fist pump*

Traditional pastel color combos and I don’t typically get along, hence the departure towards something a tad different.

The background is a cute pattern from a large stencil I cut apart into smaller ones–reminded me of Easter eggs! :)

I kinda developed the design on the fly and left the camera running… Unfortunately my camcorder is having exposure issues… probably due to user error of one kind or another… Highly annoying.

Oh, and the Stickles were an after-thought… Sometimes you finish a card, think on it a bit, and later on you realize it really does need a little sumpin’… When in doubt, I often add Stickles. Why? No clue. Just seems to be my fall-back. *chuckle*

Have a fab weekend and a joyous Easter holiday!

Quickie Vellum Overlay

This was yesterday’s Hello, Monday over in the CLASSroom–I could make GOBS of these. LOVE!!!

And, don’t fall off yer chair… I made a colored card base instead of white… Ooooh, lolly! ;)

Busier than the bees…

If you see somebody runnin’ around mach 3 with their hair on fire, that’d just be me. LOL!
