Layered Love . . .

Good Things Grow, available Mar 06, and all other images, papers, eyelets, punches, glitter, embossing powder, and inks by Stampin’ Up! Photo Turn by Creative Impressions; mini deco brad by Queen & Co.,

I really love this set, but I’ll bet it doesn’t make next year’s catalog; I love the clean lines of the designs, the ease of punching, and reverse images are so fun to work with. I always seem to fall in love with sets and images that are less popular with others . . . I wonder why that is . . . ?

Hmmmm.

I’ve been stampin’ today. And musing. Always musing. chuckle!

I’ve heard some folks like to stamp tons of images, color them in, and then later play with them, creating cards. I tried this. I can’t seem to develop anything I like or that has some sort of originality or imagination when I do this.

In theory, it seems this technique would be ideal and enable me to produce somewhat large batches of designs? Of course, perhaps it requires practice–and patience, of which I have none, naturally!

Someone snuck a bite of the choco bunny prior to Easter! Normally I use soft pastel colors for my Easter creations, but in this case, I decided to go bold.
