LIVE CLASSES: Sacramento, CA • AUG 30-SEPT 1, 2013

PLEASE NOTE: If you are here for the CASE Study Blog Hop,
refer to the previous post! Thanks muchly!

If you enjoy live classes and live in the Sacramento area, guess what? I’m teaching once again at my good friend Stephanie Nishikawa’s Paper Garden Boutique! The same two classes will be repeated over 3 days this coming Labor Day Weekend, celebrating her store’s 7th Anniversary!

Please contact the store directly to reserve your seat–space is limited to 20 adults per class session ‘cuz I like being able to stick m’ elbows out and I suspect many of you do, as well. ;) Classes are $40 each or take two classes for $70.

Please bring a basic tool kit of your preferred adhesive(s), detail scissors, and a portable paper trimmer.

We’ll make a variety of stunning cards (4 of 8 shown), from everyday to holiday, using stamps, dies and some clever little tricks! Then, we’ll bling them up with beautiful, sparkly and glimmery embellishments to give ‘em that luxurious WOW factor!  ($40)

  • Friday, Aug 30th • 2-4pm
  • Saturday, Aug 31st • 2-4pm
  • Sunday, September 1st •  2-4pm

Hope to see you there! We always have a blast and if you’ve never been to the Paper Garden, well, let me say, you are missing out–it’s one of my  favoritest stores ever (so.not.a.word, but you *know* what I’m talkin’ ’bout when I use it, doncha’? Yeah, I thought so! *wink*)–everything is SO pretty and Stephanie and her staff are DA’ BOMB!!! It makes me giddy every time I walk through the door… True story!

CASE Study 3rd Anniversary Blog Hop

CS anniversary badge

Hi, there and welcome to the CASE study 3rd Anniversary Hop! :) You’ve probably arrived here from the CASE Study Blog itself.

Since the theme is “Inspiration”, I selected one of the many pins I have on my “Sparks me” board over on Pinterest!

I loved the sherbert colored hues of the paint cans in this photo, and since I also adore circles, I simply translated the grid of paint cans with some paper scraps in my bin and a circle punch!

I thought, just for a split second, that perhaps I should add more to the card, but in all honesty, I really liked it just like this.  And, I had already ruined one card over the last few days by adding “one more thing” when it really didn’t need anything more. :)

Thanks for stopping by, and next on the hop is:

Makiko Jones

Be sure to stop and leave a comment here, and at each of the blogs on the hop so you will be eligible for the prize drawings! *fist pump*

If you get lost, you can always go right back to the CASE Study Blog!
